History

July 5, 1996: Established as Apostolic Vicariate of Bauchi from Metropolitan Archdiocese of Jos
December 31, 2003: Promoted as Diocese of Bauchi

The Cathedral is Cathedral of St. John Evangelist in Bauchi.
